The Alliance elections will be held annually during a combined Board and General membership meeting. The election for President and Treasurer will be held during the ODD numbered years. The election for Vice President, Secretary and the Elected Director-at-Large will be held during the EVEN numbered years. The election meeting date and time each year will be determined by a majority vote of the Board. Members must be notified at least 60 days in advance of the election meeting.

Bylaws allow current officers to continue in their positions upon no nomination submissions. If you have an interest in joining OMHA’s Board or have questions, please contact OMHA at omhainc@gmail.com.

Positions are held for a 2-year term beginning at the time of the election. Candidates must have basic computer skills, working with Word and Excel programs, and experience with email programs as well as be a member in good standing with dues paid up to date. Duties are as follows:

President – Schedules agenda for and presides over all meetings. Generally oversees the operation of the organization.

Vice President – The Vice President conducts the duties of the President in their absence. The VP oversees membership recruitment, support Park Reps and is in charge of the election process.

Treasurer – Maintains accounting records according to corporate GAAP. Files year-end tax returns with the State and Federal agencies and possess writing skills.

Secretary – The Secretary maintains the current year Special, Board and General Membership minutes.

Director-At-Large – Supports the Board; Duties are determined by the Board
